World // Zero Dungeons & Towers
From Crabby Crusade to Infinite Tower and Nightmare — clear routes that actually drop power.
Dungeons are the backbone of World // Zero power. Quests open doors; dungeon and tower clears print the gear, XP, and confidence you need for the next world. This guide covers early dungeons, the World 5+ tower format, Infinite Tower, and Nightmare portals. For XP-only routing see the Leveling Guide; for class picks see Best Classes. Deep endgame pages: Infinite Tower, Nightmare Dungeons, and Perks & Gear.
Early dungeons (Worlds 1–4)
Before towers, each world offers multi-room dungeons that escalate into a boss fight. Matchmaking fills your party. Play them when your level matches the world band — underleveled runs feel unfair; overleveled runs waste time.
World 1 — Crescent Cove (≈1–15): Crabby Crusade and Kingslayer teach telegraphs. Boss spotlight: Crab Prince. World 2 — Embersky Jungle (≈15–30): Jungle dungeons raise AoE pressure; bring Tier 2 classes if unlocked. World 3–4: Pyramid-style and mid-game gauntlets (Elder Golem era content) bridge you toward gardens and the first tower.
Rules that never change:
- Equip upgrades the moment they beat current stats.
- Dodge floor indicators; do not tank what you can sidestep.
- Save ultimates for bosses and dense elite packs.
- Stay with the group — split pulls wipe matchmade lobbies.
New accounts should finish Getting Started and learn keys on How to Play before grinding the same dungeon ten times on muscle memory alone.
Towers from World 5
Starting in World 5 (Konoh Gardens), towers replace the old “final dungeon” structure. A typical tower has five floors: four wave-defense floors plus a final boss floor. Wave floors may include bonus chest challenges that improve end rewards if you complete the optional objective.
Known tower lineup:
| World | Tower | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 5 Konoh Gardens | Prison Tower | First tower experience |
| 6 Atlantic Atoll | Atlantis Tower | Aquatic telegraphs |
| 7 Mezuvia Skylands | Mezuvian Tower | Higher verticality |
| 8 Wasteland Oasis | Oasis Tower | Mid-end gear push |
| 9 Stonewood Forest | Aether Tower | Pre-Crystal climb |
| 10 Crystal Cascade | Arcane Tower | Gateway to endgame portals |
Treat each tower as a gear + XP printer for its level band. If clears are slow, fix class and pets before brute-forcing — Guardian early, Dragoon / Spirit Archer mid, Mastery carries later. Full roster context: Classes Overview.
Infinite Tower (level 100+)
Infinite Tower unlocks as a special endless climb for players around level 100+. Mob spawning differs from normal towers, and floors escalate forever. Players push Infinite Tower for:
- Guild / leaderboard points on deep climbs
- Gear and battle pass XP on efficient farm floors
- Mastery quest progress that needs high-level kills or floor clears
Practical tip from community routing: for pure gear/battle pass efficiency, many players farm up to a comfort floor band (often discussed around the low-to-mid hundreds) rather than ego-pushing until clears collapse. Status-effect-heavy classes scale better on extreme floors because percent-max-HP DoTs stay relevant as enemy HP balloons. Check dated rankings on Best Classes before you prestige purely for leaderboard ego.
Nightmare portals (World 10)
Nightmare dungeons are endgame portals that appear in World 10 (Crystal Cascade). Expect a rough level ~175 readiness lock in spirit even when the UI wording shifts between patches — if you are freshly 100, finish Infinite comfort farms and Arcane Tower gear first.
Nightmare portals rotate dungeon identities at random from the wider pool, crank difficulty, and demand classes that can handle both mobs and bosses. Community favorites for Nightmare clear speed have long included Necromancer and Stormcaller, with flexible picks like Shadowblade or Guardian depending on party needs. Bring leveled pets with appropriate perks — see Pets Guide.
Event and raid-style dungeons
Limited events add temporary dungeons and boss raids (holiday factories, Halloween thrones, Kraken depth raids, Valentine cradles, alien invasion lanes, and more). Event currencies and exclusive pets often live here. When an event is live, prioritize its dungeon while the shop is open, then return to your world tower ladder. Track timing on Updates.
Loadout checklist before you queue
- Class matches the content (AoE for waves, boss killers for Nightmare finals).
- Weapon + armor are the best rarity/stats you own for this world.
- Pet equipped, candy-leveled, perks set; perk swap (2) configured if you dual-stack.
- Consumables / heals understood — but dodge first.
- Codes redeemed so you are not missing free crystals before a long session (Codes).
Party roles without a formal trinity
World // Zero is not a strict tank/healer/DPS MMO, but roles still emerge:
- Frontliners (Guardian, Paladin, early Defender) hold aggro and survive mistakes.
- Clears (Stormcaller, Spirit Archer, Warlord) delete waves.
- Boss specialists (Necromancer, Demon, Hunter, Summoner niches) melt finals.
- Supports (Mage of Light) stabilize messy pubs.
If your pub keeps wiping on floor 4, switch to a safer clear class instead of blaming matchmaking.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask every week.
When do towers unlock in World // Zero?
Towers begin in World 5 (Konoh Gardens) with Prison Tower, replacing the final-dungeon format used in earlier worlds.
What is Infinite Tower?
A level 100+ endless tower with different spawn rules from normal towers. Use it for deep pushes, gear farms, and some Mastery quests.
What are Nightmare portals?
Endgame portals in World 10 that randomly pull high-difficulty dungeon experiences. Aim for roughly level 175 readiness and bring classes strong at both trash and bosses.
Should I always do bonus chest challenges in towers?
Yes when your group can finish them without risking a wipe. Bonus objectives improve end-of-run rewards on wave floors.
Which class is best for dungeons?
It depends on the mode. Stormcaller and Necromancer lead many overall and Nightmare discussions; Spirit Archer and Warlord shine in wave-heavy farms. See Best Classes for the dated S–B list.
Can I solo dungeons and towers?
Early content is soloable with practice, but matchmaking exists because later towers and Nightmare expect party DPS and revive safety. Queue with the group even if you are strong.
